Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026

This policy explains what we collect when you shop or sign up, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the shop. We do not sell your personal information, and we only share it for advertising measurement if you allow the advertising cookies described below.

What we collect

Service providers we share with

We share the minimum necessary with providers who help us operate: our cart and checkout provider (Snipcart), our payment processor (Square), our email provider, shipping carriers, and, if you allow it, Google for analytics and advertising measurement. Each handles your data under its own privacy terms.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use three kinds of cookies. Only the first kind is required.

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept all, keep essential only, or choose by category. You can change your choice at any time from the links in the footer of every page, or here:

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, analytics and advertising cookies stay off until you turn them on. Everywhere else they are on by default and you can turn them off. We use Google's Consent Mode so that your choice is passed to Google's tags automatically.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and switch advertising and analytics cookies off without you having to do anything else.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money. Under California law, allowing advertising cookies to measure ads across sites can count as “sharing.” You can opt out of that at any time by choosing Essential only in the cookie preferences, by using the footer link of the same name as this heading, or by turning on GPC in your browser. Opting out does not change the price or service you receive.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to correct it, to delete it, to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Residents of California, other U.S. states with privacy laws, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland can exercise these rights by emailing sales@sigilandsage.com. We will confirm your request, verify it using the email address on your order or sign-up, and respond within the time the applicable law allows (45 days in California, one month in the EU and UK). You may also authorize an agent to make a request on your behalf.

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland: we process order data to perform our contract with you, marketing emails with your consent (which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing), and analytics and advertising data only with your consent through the cookie banner. Your data is processed in the United States. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Nevada residents may direct us not to sell their covered information by emailing the address above; we do not sell it today.

Data retention

We keep order records as long as needed for our business and tax obligations, then delete or anonymize them. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months. Your cookie choice is remembered for 12 months, after which we will ask again.

Children

This shop is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. Material changes will be noted on this page.
